Elevate North Texas values community and we are always ready to welcome new volunteers. We know that time is one of the most valuable commodities people have. Thank you for your interest in volunteering with your time and skills! With our unique programs, we have many ways that you can support the fight against youth homelessness.
Volunteers are critical to the success of our programs here at Elevate North Texas. Please know we’re focused on maintaining the health and safety of our youth and volunteers. We’re taking additional precautionary hygiene measures to prevent Covid-19 spread and contingencies are in place to minimize exposure risk for volunteers as you help us provide services to our youth.
We are aware that some volunteers may be considered high-risk as defined by the CDC and some may just not feel comfortable volunteering in person at this time. Don’t worry we have you covered! Elevate North Texas has some virtual volunteer opportunities available – Click here to learn more!
Volunteer Roles & Opportunities
There are multiple roles a volunteer with Elevate North Texas can play and all are important. A few of these roles include:
- Host Home
- Case Management/Mentoring Youth
- Counseling
- Transportation
- Tutoring/Teaching Life Skills
- Mediation in our Reunification Program
- Fundraising
- Conduct a Supply Drive
- Volunteer on one of our board committees
- Administrative Work
